Description

"The channel is spanned with a 430-foot steel swing span and four 154-foot concrete through tied arch spans. The north approach, a concrete viaduct, lands on Bolon Island. The south approach is a concrete viaduct of 1,072-foot length. Total length of structure 2,213 feet, nearly one-half mile. Roadway 27-feet wide with two 3½-foot sidewalks. 'C. T. Art Colortone' Reg.
